I am currently in rehearsals for Bayou City Concert Musicals production of Finian's Rainbow.

Finian's Rainbow has it all: A wonderful story of Irishman Finian McLonergan and his daughter Sharon who come to the American South to bury a pot of gold, hoping it will grow and make them rich. As you might expect, they run into a few complications, including a corrupt Senator and a leprechaun who wants nothing more than to remain a leprechaun. The multiple Tony Award-winning musical debuted in 1947 and features one of the most glorious scores of any American musical with songs like How Are Things in Glocca Morra, Old Devil Moon, Look to the Rainbow, If This Isn't Love, That Great Come-and-Get-It Day, and When I'm Not Near the Girl I Love.

Don't miss this classic, award-winning American musical brought to life in the historic Heinen Theatre by Houston's most talented musical theatre actors, singers and dancers.

Finian's Rainbow opens September 8, 2011 and runs through September 11, 2011; Thursday-Saturday at 8pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2:30p. For more information visit Bayou City Concert Musicals site.
